I’m out of ideas for titles. Heh. First things first –

I got sick almost as the semester was ending and it’s taking me some time to get back on my feet. However, there are still three weeks left until the new semester and I intend to get cracking on this site. First, there will be a new layout and then I will start readding some of the older stuff. Cross my heart, stick a needle in my eye.

Secondly, my beloved Tangle was nominated for Favorite Mystery at the Safe Place Awards. Also nominated was my plucky little Amalia Maria Zacchara. Crimson Glass, my archive, also got a nod for favorite archive, which is very sweet of you guys considering this is barely rating as an archive. I swear, you will be rewarded for your devotion.

I’m still working on my stories in my head, I’m watching GH a little bit. (Not much but since I have my own DVD recorder, I have to watch it for my sites) Hopefully, I’ll be able to show you some actual proof of this work. Tangle is part of a larger universe and I’ve been putting a lot of grunt work into setting up this universe so that the later parts of Tangle can include hints of what’s to come.

Daughters is coming along, I’m finally in a place in my head where I can write it. These Small Hours is always at the top of my list. I’m almost finished the next chapter and the overall story plotting is just about finished. Mad World is still undergoing my heaving editing, so I’ll be getting back to that shortly.

If you’ve been watching the show, you know that my favorite characters of Elizabeth, Nadine, Carly and Kate have all descended into pits of storyline hell. Elizabeth’s a clingy whiner, Carly’s even more certifiable than usual, Kate is just…depressing and Nadine…has crossed the line between quirky and fruity.

And I won’t even tell you about Jason.

So the only bright spots are Patrick and Robin. I don’t have the time to FF an entire show for the occasional hope bright spots of their little family, so until I read some recaps of a show I don’t want to explode into a million pieces, there will more than likely be very few updates.

When my winter break hits, I’ll work on getting the older stuff back up but it’s unlikely you’ll see anything new until I’m done being pissed off at the show.

I almost have the next chapter finished, so hopefully I’ll be able to get that done this weekend so I’ll stay on schedule. I have the next chapters of Daughters and Tangle just about halfway finished, so once my school load slows down a bit after this week, I should be able to finish those.

I am absolutely swamped with school work and don’t get much of a chance to do anything except school and a bit of writing. When things slow down, I’ll get back to finishing up this site. Thanks for your patience.

After three days of struggling, I’ve finished a trailer for my new story, These Small Hours. It’s the first one I’ve made with clips and audio from the show instead of photos. I decided to branch out a bit. I hope you guys enjoy it:

I also started to readd Poisonous Dreams to the site. I’ve only added the first two chapters, I hope to have it finished by the end of the week.

Chapter One has been posted to These Small Hours in the Alternate History section. I bet you’re thinking…what story is that?

Okay. So I know this is a new story. And I owe you guys a few updates on some other stuff. I know all this. And yet the muse…demanded it. Huma did as well and we keep her happy. And anyway, when the muse writes one story, sometimes he’ll cooperate with others. You go where he wants you to go and hope you get back to where you want to be.

That being said, I’ve already written three chapters of this, I’ve got about six more in my head, I just have to get it all out. This is basically writing itself, so I hope you guys like it.

Starting last spring, I spoiled everyone with weekly updates that lasted four months until I became ill in July and since then I’ve updated one story twice. I do apologize for that and I promise that nothing has been abandoned.

I must politely ask you not to leave comments or send me emails or PMs asking about updates. I’m a full-time college student with a life that doesn’t revolve around fanfiction. I have friends and family offline and I have several online projects that are just as fulfilling and challenging as my writing. I will update when I can and as often as I can. Please respect that.

I will try to get to more updates with this site this weekend, I was sick again this week.

Chapter Fourteen has been added to Tangle. Thank you for the response to the last chapter. I have a few updates in the pipeline — a new layout and some stories will be added back this weekend.

Finally, a real update! Chapter Thirteen has been added to Tangle and the Hand Me Down section is open! The character profiles aren’t complete and I hope have more content for that soon. Hope you guys enjoy and please remember to comment!

I was just tired of titling my entries status updates. Heh. So I’ve been very slow at putting this site up. I apologize for that. I sort of got weirdly distracted by the Democratic National Convention and have been glued to CNN since Monday night. Anyway.

So I’m working on getting the brand new feature section for my Tangle trilogy up and ready before updates resumes. I was hoping to have Daughters ready to post on September 1, but unless there’s a miracle and those characters start cooperating, it’s unlikely. I’m still hoping for it. If not, updates for Tangle are ready to go on September 3.

If there is a specific older story you’d like to see back here before any of the others, please reply here and tell me the name of it (or the general description). I’ll try to add those ones back first.
